'Other Side' is inspired by one of my close childhood friends losing her battle with cancer."We tried to capture the journey from hearing the news about you or a loved one leaving this realm and feeling confusion, and then acceptance and finally passing over to the other side. Some lyrics include “Tu es tandem in pace” (You are finally in peace) and “Te amo” (I love you)."

About Laura
Laura Westcott aka ‘Aura’ is a mental health campaigner & versatile vocalist combining beautiful music and meditational techniques to comfort people. Laura has a degree in music and trained as a classical singer before experiencing anxiety and stage fright which spiraled into agoraphobia. She quit her aspirations of becoming an opera singer and instead joined the London Philharmonic Choir and worked as a reviewer and PR manager for The Times in London & NYC.
In 2018, she founded Music for Mental Wealth to help musicians BEFORE they have preventable mental health issues. Laura overcame her anxiety through coaching and is now collaborating with Chris ‘Wood’ Marshall to improve mental wellbeing globally. Colonel Jon Ridley of The Royal Marines said: “Aura’s music changed the connection between my brain and body. I accepted my pain and overcame my anxiety. I managed to rest, sleep and begin my recovery…”
Laura is the founder of the 'Music with Meaning' campaign in support of mental health awareness. Laura is also the co-founder of the Phoenix Rising global movement and co-wrote and performed the song 'Time to Rise' as a call-to-action for more kindness and collaboration.
