Mick McKeown is a successful, battle-tested political operative turned entrepreneur and business coach. Shortly after receiving his master’s degree from George Washington University, Mr. McKeown worked for a local 501(c)3 before joining the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). At DHS, Mr. McKeown’s assertive approaches and his passion for social advocacy earned him the role of Executive Director of the Homeland Security Advisory Council and Campaign Office. In this role he became a leading international voice supporting the efforts of the private and public sectors to end human trafficking. Working extensively with both Congress and the executive branch to help end trafficking, Mr. McKeown created the BeCyberSmart campaign and oversaw the rebranding of the “If you See Something, Say Something” campaign.
In 2018, after his tenure with DHS, Mick decide to take his talents in sales and business development to create a private consulting business in Pennovia. With much persistence, a vast network of business leaders and a little bit of Philly spunk, Mick forged his way in the entrepreneurial world as a Certified Book Yourself Solid coach, a podcast host, a contributing writer for brands such as Entrepreneur Magazine, and a subject matter expert in relational capital.
In 2018, after his tenure with DHS, Mick decide to take his talents in sales and business development to create a private consulting business in Pennovia. Evia Golde received her BA in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario (1981) and Law degree from Queen's University (1984). She was a practicing commercial real estate attorney with Torkin, Manes, Cohen & Arbus in Toronto, Canada before moving to Atlanta in1995.
Over the last six years, she has been extensively involved in multiple leadership positions at the United Way of Greater Atlanta (UWGA). Since 2014, Evia has served as the Human Trafficking Committee Chair for Women United Atlanta, a group of 100 + donors who support the work of the UWGA. She was the Tocqueville Women Cabinet Chairperson in 2017 and in 2016 was the Co-Chair of the Safe Harbor Ballot Committee. This campaign helped successfully pass the Safe Harbor Amendment at the State level to create a permanent fund for victims of exploitation in Georgia. In recognition of her efforts, Evia was the recipient of the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s 2017 Leading a Life of Purpose Award.
In addition to her work at the United Way, Evia has been a tireless Community Advocate raising awareness to help combat the sex trafficking of Georgia's children. She has been involved as a volunteer and fundraiser with multiple local organizations fighting to end child sex trafficking including Wellspring Living, YouthSparke and Street Grace. She currently sits on the Board of Wellspring Living, a nonprofit that has been serving survivors of childhood sexual abuse and exploitation since 2001. Evia represents the United Way of Greater Atlanta on the First Lady Marty Kemp’s Grace Commission whose mission is to eradicate human trafficking in Georgia.
In 2018 Evia obtained her Real Estate license and joined Real Living Capital City Realty an Atlanta based company with over 24-year history of providing full-service real estate solutions to homeowners. Evia lives in Atlanta and is married to Dr. Andris Golde and has 2 children. Her son is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia and her daughter is a freshman at the University of North Carolina.
