In these days and times with a social and political climate that have become 'uncomfortable' to say the least, how do we talk to each other with any degree of comfort?
It's hard to know just what to say and how to say it amidst the social justice issues we are facing. Say this, but don't say that. Then, say that, but don't say this. With so much uncertainty regarding what should and should not be said in order not to offend, we need to become 'comfortable with being uncomfortable'. We need to honestly and openly talk about the reality of race as it pertains to ourselves, our communities and our country.
Join Jack and Allié McGuire, Founders of Awareness Ties™, with Moderator and Strategic Advisor, Lisa Bowman, Chief Mojo Officer of Marketing Mojo and former CMO of United Way, as they welcome a panel of diverse and dynamic speakers to speak up and speak out about what has too often been taboo. Questions will be asked, and answers will be explored. With no filter, the discussion begins.

Awareness Talks™ is a monthly series of conversations on social causes. In alignment with the Awareness Ties portfolio of causes, each month a new cause will serve as the topic of a raw, unfiltered panel discussion had among a diverse group of individuals. Prior to the live conversation, a pre-show sets the tone with musical performance, poetry, stories and statements. From actors to artists to athletes and impact leaders to industry legends, featured panelists will share personal stories and perspectives to raise awareness of relevant issues and identify actions viewers can take to change the narrative and bring sustainable change to our communities.
