Dr. Jenkins is a healthcare professional with diverse knowledge in the disciplines of medicine, business, science, and technology. He has worked in healthcare for over 20 years while earning numerous accolades including: research fellowship grants from the National Institute of Health and the National Science Foundation, clinical application awards from the American Thoracic Society and American Medical Informatics Association, and multiple publications such as in Pharmacogenomics and Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics. He has been a physician for over 10 years and actively practices Internal Medicine. He works in Northern California at Sutter Health as a Hospitalist while serving on multiple committees, and is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Native American Health Center.​
