Education is not simply a phase of life, it is the foundation by which we live our lives; it is both omnipresent and omnipotent.

​"I believe that free and equitable education for all is one of the most quintessential human rights and that this education must be unbiased and factual. We must teach both our young students and adult citizens about the issues & topics that affect them, such as government, finance, and more, without a political or cultural bias. As a student myself, I find that the subjects taught in schools are especially limited, and we must raise awareness to create a more complete, extensive curriculum that prepares our next generations for the future."

About Luke

Luke Gialanella founded GOVLEARN when he was 11 years old, in the summer after the 2016 presidential election. Finding that there was a lack of substantive civics education for elementary and middle schoolers, he went on a mission to correct that. Creating a website and YouTube channel, Luke is obviously extremely passionate about government and politics and has participated in many mock governments, Model UN, and debate programs outside of school.
